This place has recently had new ownership and I had the pleasure of visiting here when I was having issues with my car. Garage is run by a true car enthusiast who is as honest as can be. Fantastic service provided by a fantastic mechanic who definitely knows what he's talking about. The go-to place for diagnostics and the wealth of knowledge here is amazing. I had a really positive experience with my car recently having an issue with the gearbox making some unusual noise. Martin took the time to diagnose the issue and do a full flush of the gearbox oil and refill with a specialist new machine that he has. The gearbox is smoother on change than it ever has been and overall was extremely happy with the service received. Many thanks!!

First rate company... good communication with me and a job done brilliantly . They deserve their good reputation and any problem regarding your gearbox, you won't find better to sort it. Recently had a full auto gearbox recondition on my BMW and the car drives like new again.
My car went into Dartford Transmissions today as the E39 Facebook page says Dr Martin Hind is the main man on E39's and boy were they right. Very happy with everything Martin did and said and booked to go back again. Unlike other garages where you are thinking that doesn't sound quite right what you are being told, Martin is very straightforward and down to earth and definitely knows his stuff. My car will be coming here from now on even if it is a 100 mile round trip. He sorted my over cooling problem that four garages failed to. He also immediately diagnosed the braking issues that the same garages also failed to sort.

Excellent garage and highly recommended for whatever your needs are! Martin fixed my E39 530d where most couldn’t even diagnose. Cost to reprogram my ecu was very reasonable, and I was in and out in a couple of hours. Professional service, customer focussed and extremely knowledgeable, I couldn’t have been happier with the service offered me!
